What Does Matthew 12:26 Mean?
Jesus applies the principle directly to their charge. If he casts out demons by Satan's power, then Satan is working against Satan, his own kingdom divided against itself, and such a kingdom must fall. Their accusation makes no sense; the prince of evil does not wage war on his own forces.
