Matthew 14:18 Meaning and Explanation

Jesus' reply is brief and decisive: bring what you have to me. He does not scold their small supply or send them searching for more. He asks only that the little be carried into His hands, where everything is about to change.

The whole secret of the miracle lies in those few words. What is kept in our own grasp stays small; what is placed in His grows beyond measure. The Lord still says, Bring it to me -- our scant resources, our weakness, our broken offering. The path to abundance begins with surrender into the hands that can multiply.
