Matthew 9:19 Meaning and Explanation

Without a single word of hesitation or any question about the request, Jesus rises and goes with the grieving father, and his disciples follow along behind. The sentence is brief, but it shows his immediate readiness to answer a desperate, impossible-sounding plea. He does not pause to weigh whether the cause is too far gone; he simply gets up and goes.
