Though constantly in danger, the psalmist does not lose memory of God's law.

Context

Precarious circumstances unable to diminish remembrance of God's law.

What Does Psalms 119:109 Mean?

'My soul is continually in my hand' is a vivid metaphor. The psalmist holds his life in his own hand—his soul is constantly at risk, always in jeopardy. Death could come at any moment.

'Yet do I not forget thy law' forms the contrast. In this precarious state, the psalmist's memory of God's law remains firm and unshaken. No amount of danger erases it.
