What Does Revelation 16:7 Mean?
A second voice answers, this time from the altar, the very place beneath which the souls of the martyrs had cried out earlier in the vision. It echoes and seals the angel's words with 'Even so,' a solemn amen, confessing the Lord God Almighty whose judgments are true and righteous.
The altar speaks because that is where sacrifice and prayer ascend to God. Those who suffered for their faith are not bitter; they affirm His justice.
