What Does Revelation 18:14 Mean?
The lament turns to address the city directly. The ripe fruits her soul craved are gone; everything dainty and splendid has departed from her, and the verse drives the loss home: 'thou shalt find them no more at all.' What she desired most has slipped away beyond recovery.
