How our verse explanations are prepared

The source comes first

Each explanation is grounded in the King James Version text stored in our Bible database. The verse quotation is copied from that source, never generated from memory. New deep explanations are written with the surrounding chapter available for context. Cross-reference quotations are looked up from the same Bible source after drafting.

What the quality gate checks

• The verse reference and quoted text agree with the Bible database.
• The page answers the verse's meaning, gives real context, and offers distinct application rather than padded restatement.
• Required sections are complete, substantial, and not duplicated elsewhere on the page.
• Placeholder text, broken references, copied blocks, unsupported certainty, and recurring doctrinal or style problems are blocked.
• Only pages that pass the shared quality manifest are promoted in the verse sitemap and allowed to be indexed by search engines.

Length is one signal, not the definition of quality. An honest short note is better than invented detail, while a page intended for Search must provide enough original explanation to stand on its own.

Theological scope

The base commentary stays close to the biblical passage and avoids turning a disputed theological conclusion into the verse's only possible meaning. Historical, language, and Christ connections are included only when they can be grounded in the passage and the wider Bible. Uncertainty is stated plainly rather than filled with speculation.

What AI assistance does and does not mean

AI helps produce and revise drafts at the scale of a whole-Bible library. Automated validation can catch missing text, repetition, structural defects, and many known risk patterns, but it is not the same as pastoral counsel, scholarly peer review, or a guarantee that every interpretive judgment is beyond dispute. We do not describe a page as human-reviewed unless that review has actually been recorded.

Corrections

If you find a quotation error, historical mistake, unsupported language claim, broken link, or explanation that does not fit its verse, please send the reference and the specific concern. Corrections are more useful when they name the exact sentence and the biblical or historical source that should replace it.
