What Does Zechariah 12:7 Mean?
God deliberately rescues 'the tents of Judah' -- the open country dwellers, the ordinary households -- before the celebrated house of David or the famed inhabitants of the capital. The order is chosen on purpose: so that the grand and glorious cannot exalt themselves over the humble.
