The Healing of Ten Lepers

Ten lepers call out to Jesus from a distance, and as they go to show themselves to the priests they are cleansed — but only one, a Samaritan, returns to give thanks (Luke 17). A watercolor by the French painter James Tissot, from his life of Christ.
