Our Divine Savior

About this church

Our Divine Savior is a Chico Catholic parish nourished by grace and the sacraments and committed to worship, loving service, faith formation, youth, and the wider community. Children are encouraged to attend Mass with their families. September-through-April faith formation for kindergarten through sixth grade, confirmation preparation, youth gatherings, and many parish ministries provide age-specific formation outside the liturgy.

Weekend Mass is celebrated Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The dedicated Mass popup publishes daily Mass Tuesday through Friday at 8:30 a.m.; an older visitor answer instead lists Tuesday at 6:00, so Tuesday visitors should confirm. Reconciliation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30, or by appointment. Children’s faith formation meets Sunday at 9:00 from September through April, and confirmation classes meet Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30. Parking is available in the parish lot, hearing-assistance headphones can be requested, and clothing may be casual but should be conservative. Non-Catholics may come forward for a blessing rather than receive the Eucharist, and first-time visitors are not expected to give.
