Horizon Community Church

About this church

Horizon Community Church’s Galt campus is a casual, contemporary congregation organized around loving God and people through worship, outreach, fellowship, discipleship, and service. Its ministries span infants through college age, adults, prayer, community projects, and an annual Mexico mission that builds homes and supports Vacation Bible School. The church describes services as welcoming, lively, biblically grounded, and relevant rather than formal.

Galt services begin Sunday at 8:45 and 10:45 a.m.; Horizon’s separate Lodi gathering is at 9:45 and should not be assigned to this listing. Services last about an hour and fifteen minutes, and casual clothing is normal. Nursery and children’s church through sixth grade are available at both Galt hours, with secure coded check-in, allergy information, trained background-checked volunteers, and age-specific rooms. High-school ministry meets Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Impact youth meets Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00, while the J.A.M. kindergarten-through-sixth-grade program meets every other Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 and includes dinner. Families should confirm which Tuesday is active. Free coffee is available, and visitors may bring it into worship.
