Calvary Chapel Lihue

About this church

Calvary Chapel Lihue holds Sunday services at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. in unit C9 at 3-3100 Kuhio Highway in Lihue. Both gatherings are casual, Christ-centered, and built around heartfelt worship and verse-by-verse Bible teaching. Aloha shirts, dresses, jeans, and slippahs all fit the church’s published “come as you are” approach, and visitors can stop at the information table or simply find a seat.

The two service times work differently for families. The 8:00 gathering is family-style, with children sitting in the sanctuary; at 10:00, Sunday School serves ages eighteen months through fifth grade with Bible stories, songs, crafts, and other activities. Nursing and crawler rooms have screens carrying the service. Vital Youth for grades six through twelve meets Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a snack, games, worship, Bible teaching, and friendship. Weekday Ohana Groups gather in homes or at church for discussion, prayer, mutual care, and service; times vary by group. The website also carries recent sermons and the livestream, useful for residents or Kauai visitors previewing the teaching. The complete address includes unit C9, an important detail when navigating the commercial property.
