Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Parish

About this church

Our Lady of the Wayside is an Arlington Heights Catholic parish with a broad Mass schedule, daily prayer, adoration, reconciliation, children’s liturgy, religious education, teen leadership, and streamed worship. The parish gives children and teenagers visible roles: children hear the Gospel in age-appropriate language, while teens help serve the Sunday evening Mass as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and ushers.

Saturday Vigil Mass begins at 5:00 p.m. Sunday Masses are celebrated at 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Daily Mass meets Monday through Saturday at 8:30 a.m., preceded by the Rosary at 8:00. The daily Mass and Saturday Vigil stream online. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered during most Sunday 9:30 Masses; children leave before the readings and return after the petitions. Tuesday evening Mass at 6:00, followed by adoration and confession, is labeled “through May 27” and excludes the first Tuesday, so visitors should not assume it continues year-round. Wednesday prayer and adoration runs from 9:00 to 9:45. Youth formation and summer meetings use dated schedules that should be confirmed in current announcements.
