St. Simon's Episcopal Church

About this church

St. Simon's Episcopal Church in Arlington Heights gathers for worship at 9:30 a.m. Sundays, with options to participate in person, on Zoom, or through Facebook Live. The congregation uses Episcopal common prayer, Scripture, preaching, music, sacraments, and Holy Communion while making room for questions and doubt. Its central description is a community that celebrates God's love for all and seeks to embody Christ in the world.

Adult faith formation, music, ministry teams, community outreach, and service projects extend the Sunday gathering. St. Simon's explicitly calls itself joyful and inclusive, welcoming people wherever they are in their faith journey and celebrating each person rather than expecting a particular spiritual background. The hybrid format is useful for people who want to observe or participate from home before visiting the Kirchhoff Road building. A first-time attendee can choose the access mode that feels most comfortable and should use the current worship link for Zoom or Facebook instructions, since online details can change even when the 9:30 service time remains stable.
