St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church

About this church

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church is a Crystal Lake parish that describes itself as a Catholic family living with an awareness of Christ through worship, service, evangelization, and community. Parish life spans two nearby worship sites, English- and Spanish-language liturgies, Catholic education, youth and sacramental formation, music, perpetual-administration ministries, service groups, and outreach such as meal support, resale, and food-pantry involvement.

Weekend Masses at the Oak Street church begin Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 a.m., noon, and 5:30 p.m. The Pierson Street church hosts a Spanish vigil Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Spanish Sunday Masses at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. English daily Mass is offered Monday through Friday at 6:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m., plus Saturday at 7:30 a.m.; Spanish weekday hours are published separately. Religious education for preschool through seventh grade meets Wednesday afternoon, while whole-family formation meets selected Wednesday evenings during the school year. Because the listed 272 King Street address is not one of the two published worship sites, first-time visitors should choose a Mass and follow the church’s location details before traveling.
