The Journey in Marion meets Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in a casual, laid-back environment. Worship uses culturally relevant songs with substantial Christian content, preaching works through passages of Scripture, and every service includes an opportunity to receive prayer. New visitors can submit an advance arrival form so someone will meet them at the door, show them around, provide a welcome gift, and help them settle in. Journey Kids serves infants through fifth grade during Sunday worship with background-checked volunteers and staffing based on class size. Local engagement includes mentoring under development for young people and adults in recovery, plus partnership with the Restore Network to support children and families involved in foster care. The Journey combines a clearly explained first visit with family ministries, prayer, smaller groups, and service directed toward vulnerable neighbors.
