About this church

The Mission Church in Marion gathers Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. and Fridays at 6:15 p.m. Sunday worship is also available through YouTube and Facebook. The church launched October 20, 2024, at the Market Street Conservatory and now meets at 311 South Fifth Street, beside the VA hospital and behind MACH One. Its purpose is focused on making disciples of Jesus, and its visitor guidance is intentionally informal: people are told to wear whatever makes them comfortable.

Mission Kids serves children from birth through fifth grade during each weekend service through music, Scripture, games, teaching, and age-appropriate small groups. Junior-high students in grades six through eight meet Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.; high-school students in grades nine through twelve meet Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30. Life Groups provide another route into relationships and faith development for adults. The official site is especially helpful for families because it separates the two student age bands and their different nights. New visitors can use Sunday morning as the simplest introduction, while families should allow time to locate the appropriate children’s or student area.
