Macedonia Seventh-day Adventist Church

About this church

Macedonia Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hempstead gathers for its principal Saturday service at 11 a.m. The South Franklin Street congregation invites neighbors into Bible study, worship, and prayer as part of a worldwide Adventist Christian community. Adult Sabbath School uses weekly lesson-study groups to compare insights and discuss how Scripture affects daily life. Children's ministry treats young people as present participants in the church rather than only its future, while youth, men, health, and community-service ministries create additional routes into congregational life.

The Adventist beliefs presented by Macedonia connect faith with the whole person. Jesus' resurrection, the continuing counsel of the Holy Spirit, and Christ's promised return are central, while family, health, speech, work, talents, finances, time, relationships, and care for creation are all understood as aspects of discipleship. Health ministry therefore supports both members and the surrounding community, and community service is framed as part of being a good neighbor. Visitors should plan for Saturday rather than Sunday worship. The public pages do not give a complete Sabbath School timetable, so adults and families who want to attend a class before the 11 a.m. service should request the current starting time through the official contact page.
