Grace Baptist Church

About this church

Grace Baptist Church in Syracuse gathers for Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday prayer and Bible study at 6:30 p.m. Its official summer notice pauses the usual 10:00 a.m. Sunday School, with the event calendar showing classes returning September 6, 2026. The Sunday service centers on verse-by-verse preaching through books of the Bible; Wednesday is more conversational, using discussion to explore doctrine and Scripture. Guests are welcomed into what the congregation calls a friendly church where Christ is exalted and God’s Word carries authority.

The church summarizes its mission with four movements: engage people with the gospel of grace, embrace them in a community of grace, equip them to live through grace, and together exalt and enjoy the God of grace. Children’s ministry serves ages four through eleven, while a teen ministry creates a distinct place for older students. Seasonal events such as Back to School Sunday extend the main worship gathering into shared meals and community time. For a first-time visitor, the strongest practical markers are the straightforward 11:00 service, text-focused preaching, a smaller midweek discussion setting, and the need to account for the seasonal Sunday School break.
