Currytown Baptist Church

About this church

Currytown Baptist Church begins Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:30, and evening worship at 5 at 7740 North NC Highway 150 in Lexington. A midweek service meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The church's beliefs describe a local congregation joined for worship, fellowship, service, baptism, and the Lord's Table. Its published schedule makes the distinction between learning, morning worship, evening worship, and midweek gathering especially clear.

Kids Sanctuary serves children from age four through sixth grade in three groups: Sparrows for age four through first grade, Ravens for second and third grades, and Eagles for fourth through sixth. Each group follows a child-sized worship order with prayer, singing, and an age-appropriate message. A bus ministry provides Sunday-morning transportation for children, adults, and families, extending access beyond people who can drive to the campus. Other ministries create small-group growth and local service opportunities, while the men's ministry meets quarterly on Saturday for breakfast, fellowship, a devotional, and prayer. Families can begin with Sunday school and morning worship, and parents can use the detailed age divisions to know where a child will participate.
