Reeds United Methodist Church

About this church

Reeds United Methodist Church worships Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at 4731 West Old US Highway 64 in Lexington. The hour-long gathering is available both in person and online through the congregation’s YouTube channel. Reeds keeps a current archive of complete worship services and sermons, so a prospective visitor can hear recent preaching rather than relying on a generic description of Methodist worship. The church calendar also lists seasonal studies and special gatherings alongside the recurring Sunday service.

Its concise public motto—“Love God | Love People | No Limits”—frames a congregation with deep roots and a local focus. Reeds marked a centennial homecoming in 2025 and has recently organized efforts such as a school-supply drive for nearby Reeds Elementary School. Bible studies and retreats for students, teachers, and preachers appear among its formation opportunities, while the news archive offers pastoral reflections between Sundays. Compared with a large multi-service church, the practical plan here is simple: one late-morning service at the West Old Highway 64 campus, with a matching online option and recordings for later viewing. Because studies and community projects are seasonal, visitors interested in more than worship should consult the live events calendar for the week they plan to attend.
