Rousculp Church of Christ

About this church

Rousculp Church of Christ is located on Amherst Road in Cridersville, south of Lima, and begins Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts. A blended worship service follows at 10:00 and is available by livestream. Nursery and Junior Church for kindergarten through sixth grade are offered during the service. Students in grades six through twelve meet separately in the Youth Room at 9:00 to study Scripture and its application to life, then return Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for games, food, fellowship, and Bible study.

RCC Kids describes its rooms as a safe place for children to encounter God’s love through Sunday learning and family events. The broader congregation grew from revival meetings led by Restoration preacher Clarence Mitchell at Butler School in 1897, which brought forty-five additions over two Sundays. A new building program began in 1951; the present sanctuary was completed in 1962. Missions remain an organized priority through a quarterly team that responds to local needs, supports global partners, and equips Christians for service. Named partners include Christian Children’s Home of Ohio and Hippo Valley Christian Mission, and youth participate directly through meal-packing projects.
