Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church

About this church

Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a Reformed congregation in the Youngstown area, meeting at 2432 South Raccoon Road. Sunday school begins at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30. The church identifies with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Westminster standards, describing the Bible as its authority for faith and life. Its mission joins Great Commission witness with steady congregational care: gathering for worship, growing as disciples, and responding to spiritual, emotional, and practical needs. Children’s Church is available after the opening portion of worship.

The weekly calendar gives visitors several concrete ways to connect. Awana serves children from age three through twelfth grade on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.; adult Bible studies include gatherings for men and women, and a Thursday-morning women’s study. Adults over fifty meet through the Job 12:12 ministry for fellowship and learning, while the Growing Place Preschool serves local families during the week. Saturday pickleball adds an informal point of entry to the campus. These activities do not all run year-round, so the current ministries page is the best place to confirm a particular group. For a first Sunday, the published 9:00 and 10:30 rhythm is the clearest starting point.
