Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church

About this church

Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church is a United Methodist congregation in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, located at the corner of West Packer Avenue and Montclair Avenue, next to the Lehigh University campus. Worship is held Sundays at 10:30 a.m.; visitors should confirm the current time on the church website before attending. After the service, people stay for an informal fellowship time with coffee and treats. The church describes itself as family-oriented and frames its mission around sharing God's love within a community of grace, with an emphasis on how the message of Jesus speaks to present-day challenges.

Beyond Sunday worship, the church offers faith formation and Sunday school, along with small groups for people who want to grow in faith together. A women's group meets every other Wednesday morning at 9:30. The congregation says it wants to be a safe place to ask questions and explore faith. Those who cannot attend in person can follow services on Facebook Live, and the website has a messages section. Students coming from Lehigh can walk west on West Packer Avenue past Broughal Middle School and across Brodhead Avenue to reach the church at Montclair Avenue, and a Lehigh TRACS bus stop sits at the Montclair and West Packer intersection. Questions can go to the church office by phone or email.
