About this church
New Life Christian Church gathers for worship at 10 a.m. Sunday at 4 Freedom Drive in Newtown. The independent, non-denominational congregation describes the service as a celebration centered on God's Word, with music that combines familiar church songs, newer praise, and time-honored hymns. A fellowship period before worship gives visitors a chance to meet people before entering the main gathering, and an official video library makes past services available for advance viewing.
The Sunday program includes a roughly ninety-minute worship service and Children's Church, alongside Family School programs and adult Sunday School listed on the weekly schedule. Children's ministry is designed to help younger participants learn Scripture and build relationships in an age-appropriate setting, while music ministries give singers and instrumentalists ways to contribute to congregational worship. New Life says people from different walks of life and faith backgrounds are invited and presents itself as a place of unconditional love and acceptance where people can worship, learn, and grow in a relationship with God. Its purpose is explicitly Christian, with teaching shaped by its published statement of belief. For a first visit, arrive before 10 for fellowship, use the children's option if helpful, and preview a recorded service to understand the blend of music and Bible teaching before Sunday morning.
