Abundant Life Baptist Church

About this church

Abundant Life Baptist Church in Washington gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Adult and youth Bible studies are listed at 9:15, while the children’s page lists Sunday School at 9:35; families should confirm their class and arrive early. Children stay with parents for congregational worship and preschoolers through fourth graders may leave before the sermon for Junior Church. Nursery care is available during both Sunday School and worship, with a pager system for parents. Children’s volunteers complete criminal-background and child-abuse clearances under Pennsylvania law.

Teenagers can join deeper Bible study Sunday mornings and a 6:30–8:00 p.m. youth night built around games, worship, relationships, and practical teaching. Twice each month, church teams prepare and serve food for local residents. Wider partnerships support help in Appalachia, community development and evangelism in Uganda, church planting in Poland, and medical work in Kenya. The congregation describes itself as real people navigating life’s difficulties with kindness, grace, and mutual support, and explicitly invites guests to come as they are. Abundant Life may suit families seeking one main worship hour, documented child-safety standards, active youth programming, and recurring hands-on service.
