Trinity Church

About this church

Trinity Church brings Anglican worship to Washington, Pennsylvania, with Holy Communion every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in person and online. Its liturgy joins Word and Sacrament through four Scripture readings—Old Testament, Psalm, New Testament, and Gospel—along with a sermon, congregational prayer, and Communion. All baptized Christians are invited to the table regardless of age or denominational affiliation. A contemplative service meets Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., while midday prayer is offered Tuesday through Thursday at noon.

Nursery care and children's church are available during Sunday worship. Trinity uses Godly Play, a Montessori-influenced approach to children's faith formation, and says its children's volunteers are screened. A Wednesday playgroup offers another family connection from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Community work includes Our Kids Kloset, a satellite food pantry, support for City Mission and Resurrection Power, and space for recovery groups. These elements distinguish Trinity from a Sunday-only parish: visitors find historic Anglican participation, open Communion for baptized believers, weekday prayer in two styles, and neighborhood ministries operating alongside worship. The online feed offers a useful first look at the liturgy.
