Glenn Street Free Methodist Church

About this church

Glenn Street Free Methodist Church meets at 690 Glenn Street in Washington, Pennsylvania, with Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Its stated mission—love God, love people, and make disciples—appears in a congregational culture described as relational and family-like: people worship, learn, serve, celebrate, and grieve together while reaching beyond the church. The congregation's welcome is aimed especially at people searching for a place to belong, and its site points first-time guests to practical frequently asked questions. Lead pastor Emilee Rivera brings experience in youth leadership, missionary and pastoral work in Cuba, and associate ministry in western Pennsylvania.

Children's Church uses a Bible-rich curriculum designed around shared experiences and growing in faith together. For students in grades four through twelve, youth group meets Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with food, games, discussion, service, and periodic outings. The group has served meals at a soup kitchen and participated in food drives, retreats, camping, and Christian music events; the church notes that youth and children's workers hold required state clearances. The events page also lists free community meals and seasonal services, but visitors should confirm their dates separately from the steady Sunday worship hour.
