Homeland Baptist Church

About this church

Homeland Baptist Church in Kingsport starts Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and morning worship at 11:00. Sunday evening Bible study and children's programming begin at 6:00 p.m.; the church advertises the evening ministry for ages three through grade twelve until 7:30. Wednesday prayer gatherings are published at 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Recorded sermons allow visitors to sample the teaching before attending.

The Baptist congregation organizes ministries around different stages of life, including children, BASIC Youth for grades six through twelve, men, women, music, and a food ministry. Its beliefs emphasize Scripture, salvation through Jesus Christ, prayer, and the church's responsibility to share the gospel. The Sunday schedule makes it possible to pair a smaller study setting with the main worship hour or return for evening learning and children's activities. Families considering the evening program should confirm the current age-group calendar, while people interested in Wednesday prayer can choose between the daytime and evening option published by the church.
