Kingsport Sovereign Grace Church

About this church

Kingsport Sovereign Grace Church meets at 2709 Rock Springs Road in Kingsport. Its official schedule lists three Sunday times—10:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 6:00 p.m.—plus a Wednesday gathering at 7:00 p.m. The site does not label what happens at each of the two closely spaced morning times, so a first-time visitor should ask the church which is the main worship service and which may be a class or preliminary gathering. A television broadcast airs at 10:30 a.m. on FOX affiliate WEMT.

The congregation places preaching at the center of its public identity, summarizing its focus with Paul’s words about knowing Jesus Christ crucified. Its official SermonAudio library contained nearly 3,000 messages when reviewed, including Bible studies, Sunday sermons, video, and live webcasts. Church code 82522 connects listeners to that library through phone and tablet apps, smart TVs, speakers, watches, or a telephone listen line—an unusually broad set of options for people who want to hear the teaching before attending. Recent series and individual messages are searchable by Bible passage and speaker. Because the website publishes times without event labels, confirm the Sunday-morning sequence directly before setting out.
