About this church

Recent services are available online for visitors who want to preview the preaching and music.

Located about five miles south of Maryville near the Smoky Mountain foothills, Mountain View combines a rural history with an emphasis on Bible study, prayer, love, and using each person’s gifts in service. Its first building was completed in 1906, and the congregation formally organized in October 1907. Early preachers often traveled from Johnson Bible College on weekends; the first continuous minister began around 1930 and served for twenty-three years. The present building was constructed in 1955 on the former Christy Hill School property. The church is led locally by elders, ministers, and deacons. Visitors will find it at 3102 Six Mile Road and should consult the events page for seasonal programs.
