Oak Street Baptist Church

About this church

Oak Street Baptist Church begins children’s Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. in its downstairs classrooms, followed by morning worship. Children in kindergarten through sixth grade remain for the music, then are dismissed to Children’s Church for age-appropriate Bible learning. A Facebook livestream is available for people unable to attend in Maryville, giving prospective visitors a way to hear teaching and worship before arriving.

The congregation describes church as a family united by Jesus, rooted in Scripture, and committed to making disciples. Children’s ministry combines Christ-centered lessons with a safe environment, while other ministry opportunities help adults and families connect beyond the primary service. The official pages reviewed publish the 9:30 class time and children’s dismissal process more clearly than the main worship start, so first-time guests should confirm the current service hour directly. Parents can arrive before Sunday School, use the downstairs rooms, and expect children to begin the later service with the whole congregation. Anyone joining online should check Facebook shortly before the announced worship time.
