The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Morristown, Tennessee

About this church

The Lakeway Ward, affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, meets at 6301 Hiawatha Road, the only meetinghouse the directory lists in Morristown, Tennessee; the nearest additional building is in Sevierville, about 24.4 miles away.

Two wards meet here: Lakeway Ward at 9 a.m. and Douglas Lake Ward at 11 a.m. Lakeway's sacrament meeting, like the one that follows, runs about an hour and includes hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from ward members, with a second hour of classes and Primary afterward. No cost is charged for attending, and no collection plate is passed. Because Morristown's meeting times are set locally and can change from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is worth making.
