Galilean Lutheran Church

About this church

Galilean Lutheran Church worships Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. at 3321 Cimarron Boulevard in Corpus Christi. Holy Communion is celebrated at both services, and a Scripture discussion begins between them at 9:40. Greeters meet newcomers at the door, while projected songs and prayers and a clearly arranged bulletin help people follow the liturgy. Communion is open to anyone who wishes to receive it. The 10:30 service and special services are posted online for live or later participation.

The congregation’s name recalls Jesus’ Galilean ministry, and its public mission emphasizes trusting Christ while sharing grace in the surrounding community. Worship is recognizably Lutheran and sacramental, yet the visitor information is written for people who may not already know the service pattern. The two-service schedule also creates useful choices: an earlier Eucharist, a midmorning Scripture conversation, or the later gathering with a recording available afterward. Visitors interested in more than Sunday worship can use the live calendar to find seasonal events and learning opportunities. For a first trip, the practical details are unusually clear—arrive at the Cimarron Boulevard campus, expect a greeting and printed guidance, and choose either service without losing Holy Communion.
