Padre Island Baptist Church

About this church

Padre Island Baptist Church, also presented as The Island Church, offers Sunday worship at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Childcare and children's ministry are available during both services. The visitor guide reflects the island setting: clothing ranges from flip-flops and shorts to jeans and Sunday best, and guests are encouraged to come as they are. Recorded messages remain available online for people who miss Sunday or want to hear the teaching before visiting.

The congregation aims to be a welcoming, Christ-centered community walking in unity. Kid's Island helps children learn Scripture, grow in faith, and belong through teaching designed for their age. Students gather Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. upstairs in the youth room for worship, friendship, service, and guidance from adults partnering with parents. Adult ministries and mission work create further opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, and local or global service. A newcomer can choose either identical Sunday time slot, with family programming available at both, then use the midweek student ministry or adult groups to form closer relationships beyond the main gathering.
