Waldron Road Baptist Church

About this church

Waldron Road Baptist Church is a Corpus Christi congregation welcoming people from any background who want to know and follow Jesus. Sunday worship combines traditional and contemporary music with Bible preaching that is often verse by verse and directed toward everyday application. Sunday School classes for all ages meet in the Fellowship Center, and recurring prayer, women's study, and evening Bible study provide smaller settings during the week. Dress ranges from Sunday best to jeans, with comfort and attentiveness in worship taking priority over a formal code.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. Worship starts at 11:00 and usually ends by 12:30, while Sunday evening worship, fellowship, and Bible study run from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday ladies' Bible study meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and congregational prayer from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The visitor page says child care for birth through prekindergarten is provided but also retains a Covid-era sentence saying it is unavailable. Because those statements conflict and the dated 2026 event pages do not resolve them, families should confirm child care directly rather than assuming either notice is current. The worship and study times themselves are reinforced by current calendar entries.
