Yorktown Baptist Church

About this church

Yorktown Baptist Church is a Corpus Christi congregation focused on making disciples who grow in passion for God and compassion for people. Sunday worship, age-based Bible study, family discipleship, and local service shape its weekly life. The children’s ministry emphasizes sound biblical teaching, practical support for parents, and trained volunteers, while the student ministry divides fifth through twelfth grades into junior-high and high-school settings for age-appropriate discussion.

Bible studies for children, students, and adults begin Sunday at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. At the worship hour, programming is available for children from birth through kindergarten, and Kids Worship serves first through fourth grades. Students meet in the gym at 9:00 for grade-specific study and return Sunday evening for combined worship, separate messages, and SNAC from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., with food included. Parking volunteers help first-time guests find the correct building on the multi-building campus; the visitor page also supplies a campus map. Recent services are available online, allowing newcomers to preview the worship format. Men’s and women’s studies and other midweek opportunities are offered, but visitors should use the current calendar rather than assuming every class follows the same seasonal schedule.
