Matthew Road Baptist Church

About this church

Matthew Road Baptist Church holds Sunday worship in Grand Prairie at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., with contemporary music in each service. Community Bible studies meet between them at 9:45, creating a useful choice: visitors can worship early and stay for a group, attend a group before the later service, or come for worship alone. The congregation describes itself as a community of genuine people committed to following Jesus and makes Bible study, fellowship, and service part of the weekly rhythm.

Children with developmental or medical needs can receive individualized guidance during the Sunday 9:45 study hour and Wednesday AWANA at 6:30 p.m. That published inclusion support is a practical distinction for families evaluating whether everyone can participate. Children, youth, and adult ministries provide additional ways to connect, including Wednesday Night Live for teenagers. First-time households should arrive before their chosen service and allow extra time for children’s placement or an inclusion-ministry conversation. Anyone planning around special-needs support should contact the church in advance so the team can understand the child’s needs rather than trying to arrange assistance at the classroom door.
