About this church
Briarchase Missionary Baptist Church gathers at 16000 Blue Ridge Road in Missouri City. Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30, with the service also available through Facebook Live. The church invites newcomers to return Wednesday for prayer meeting and Bible study, although the public pages do not give a reliable recurring start time. Its teaching is organized around worship, discipleship, stewardship, fellowship, and relationships within an Evangelical Missionary Baptist framework.
The congregation began with eleven people at its first service on December 18, 1977. It initially met in the Briargate Clubhouse and has since added classrooms, meeting technology, a Christian library, and online broadcasting. Briarchase says its vision is to address spiritual, emotional, economic, and social needs in Houston-area communities while helping believers grow through Christian education and shared life. Ministry opportunities include Sunday School, youth, music, missions, women, men, and community service. First-time guests can watch a service online and should contact the church for the current Wednesday schedule.
