Grace Church Waco

About this church

Grace Church Waco is a gospel-centered congregation with roots in historic Christian creeds, Reformation teaching, and Baptist tradition. Replanted in 2011 and moved into a remodeled bowling alley in 2016, the church seeks to make Jesus known through biblical Christianity, Christ-centered community, and kingdom-multiplying mission. It belongs to the Grace Network and has an Acts 29 partnership in its history.

Equipping classes begin Sunday at 9:00 a.m. for adults, children from birth through sixth grade, and youth in grades seven through twelve. Corporate worship starts at 10:00 with a planned liturgy of singing, confession, Scripture, prayer, Christ-centered preaching, and weekly Communion. Childcare is offered for children age four and younger during worship; older children are encouraged to participate with their families. The former bowling-alley building stands across from the Extraco Events Center. During the week, home groups pray, study Scripture, practice confession and encouragement, and share life. Youth also join same-gender, age-based discipleship groups led by elder-approved and trained leaders weekly or every other week. Public pages do not specify service length, dress, parking, accessibility, child check-in, secure pickup, childcare-worker screening, music style, or livestreaming.
