The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Pioneer 1st Ward, Herriman

About this church

Herriman, Utah, lists 12 meetinghouses in the directory, and the one at 5633 W 12900 S, home to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sits about 0.3 miles from the next-closest. Wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking, restroom and seating are all in place.

Four congregations share the building on Sundays: the Pioneer 1st Ward at 9 a.m., the Herriman Rose 5th Ward at 10:30 a.m., the Herriman Rose 4th Ward at 12 p.m., and the Spanish-speaking Herriman Rose 6th Ward at 1:30 p.m.. About an hour of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation opens each meeting, and a second hour of classes for all ages follows. Coming costs nothing. A visitor's outfit is entirely up to them, since dress varies widely among regulars. Because the timing is a local decision, it is worth calling ahead of a first visit to check nothing has moved.
