The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Rose Canyon 3rd Ward, Herriman

About this church

Herriman, Utah has twelve meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and this one, on Rose Canyon Rd, sits about a mile from the closest other. Parking, the entrance, the restroom, and the seating are all wheelchair accessible.

Three congregations share the building on Sundays: Rose Canyon 3rd Ward at 9 a.m., Rose Canyon 1st Ward at 10:30 a.m., and Rose Canyon 9th Ward at 12 p.m. Each block begins with sacrament meeting, hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks by congregation members, before a second hour of classes, Primary included. No fee applies to attending, and no collection plate is passed. With twelve meetinghouses in Herriman, three wards sharing one building at staggered hours is simply how the area is organized. Since local schedules can shift from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is sensible.
