The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Wander 3rd Ward, Saratoga Springs

About this church

This meetinghouse at 1178 South Pondside Drive in Saratoga Springs, Utah is one of seventeen the directory lists in the city, with the nearest additional building just three-tenths of a mile away.

Four congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints share the building on Sundays: Wander 3rd Ward at 9 a.m., Riverside Ward at 10:30 a.m., the Tongan-speaking Saratoga Springs 9th Ward at 12 p.m., and the Samoan-speaking Saratoga Springs 12th Ward at 1:30 p.m. Sacrament meeting fills the first hour with hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and a second hour of classes follows, including Primary for children. No admission is charged, and no collection plate is passed. Congregations are organized geographically, which is how four groups can use one building at staggered hours. Since schedules are set locally and can shift from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is a reasonable step.
