Gayton Baptist Church

About this church

Gayton Baptist Church in Henrico gathers for whole-church worship at 10:00 a.m. Sundays, followed by a Bible study hour at 11:00 with classes for different ages. The congregation's mission is to be disciples who make disciples across generations, grounding worship and daily life in Scripture while helping people discover and use their gifts in the church and surrounding community.

Gayton Kids serves children from birth through fifth grade with Bible-centered storytelling, worship, games, hands-on activities, and trusted adult leaders. Students in grades six through twelve attend Youth Brunch Bible Study during the 11:00 hour and normally gather again from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for Youth Lifenight, which mixes games, snacks, worship, study, and prayer groups. Preschool, after-school, and summer programs extend family support beyond Sunday. First-time households can worship together at 10:00, then move into age-based classes; youth families should check the weekly Vine before an evening visit because special events can alter the regular Lifenight schedule.
