Tri-Cities Worship Center

About this church

Tri-Cities Worship Center in Portsmouth begins Sunday Christian education at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11:15. Tuesday Bible study and Friday evangelistic service both meet at 7:30 p.m., creating a three-day weekly rhythm rather than concentrating all activity on Sunday. The congregation is connected with Churches of the Living God International, and its statement of faith emphasizes the Holy Spirit, biblical salvation, and Christian life. Worship can be joined in person or online.

Youth and young-adult ministry provides teaching, fellowship, and opportunities to serve, while other ministries support families, prayer, music, and outreach. The church's mission and history pages place the Portsmouth congregation within a wider Pentecostal fellowship and its commitment to evangelism. The Friday service is especially distinctive for people seeking a second worship opportunity at the end of the workweek. Visitors comparing Pentecostal churches in Hampton Roads can expect a formal Christian-education hour, late-morning Sunday worship, two midweek gatherings, and an emphasis on spiritual growth and public witness.
