The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Stevens Point

About this church

Stevens Point, Wisconsin has one meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, at 5431 Golla Road; the nearest other building is in Rib Mountain, nearly twenty-seven miles away. The entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating are each wheelchair accessible.

Stevens Point Ward meets at 10 a.m. each Sunday for the full two-hour block. Hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from ward members fill the first hour, sacrament meeting, and a second hour of classes follows, Primary included for children. A guest owes nothing, and no collection plate is passed around. Attire runs from Sunday dress to something plainer among the congregation. Because a ward's schedule like this is decided at the local level, and can move from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit helps confirm 10 a.m. still stands.
