About this Judges 2 coloring page
This free printable coloring page illustrates god's messenger speaks to the people from Judges 2. A gentle angel stands before a crowd of listening families, calling them back to God. The sheet prints at full letter size and the line art is drawn with wide open areas, so younger children can colour it with crayons while an adult reads the chapter aloud.
The memory verse printed at the bottom is Judges 2:18 — “The Lord had deep concern for them.” A second version without the verse banner is available above if you would rather keep the whole sheet blank for colouring, or add your own caption.
Use it for Sunday school, midweek kids’ club, homeschool Bible time, or a family devotional at the kitchen table. It pairs with our Judges 2 kids study guide and the full Judges 2 study guide for grown-ups. You can also read Judges 2 before you start colouring.
Read and talk about Judges 2
Read Judges 2:1–5 with an adult before coloring. The messenger recalls the Lord’s covenant and Israel’s disobedience; the people weep and the place is called Bochim. The picture is an artist’s representation of the scene. Adults can explain the difficult parts of the chapter in a short, gentle reading.
- What are the people reminded of?
- What helps our family remember what God has taught us?
A remember-and-tell activity
Read Judges 2:1–5, then 2:10. The messenger speaks at Bochim, the people weep and they offer sacrifice. Invite children to draw a reminder of something God has taught them, then explain it to an adult. The later generation’s forgetting gives the activity its connection to the chapter; the reminder drawing is our teaching activity.
