Wedding Banquet Illustration Coloring Page

About this Matthew 22 coloring page

This free printable coloring page illustrates a fine robe for a surprised guest from Matthew 22. A servant slips a beautiful festival robe over the shoulders of a road-dusty guest at the banquet-hall door. The sheet prints at full letter size and the line art is drawn with wide open areas, so younger children can colour it with crayons while an adult reads the chapter aloud.

The memory verse printed at the bottom is Matthew 22:37 — “Love the Lord your God with all your heart.” A second version without the verse banner is available above if you would rather keep the whole sheet blank for colouring, or add your own caption.

Use it for Sunday school, midweek kids’ club, homeschool Bible time, or a family devotional at the kitchen table. It pairs with our Matthew 22 kids study guide and the full Matthew 22 study guide for grown-ups. You can also read Matthew 22 before you start colouring.

Read and talk about Matthew 22

This imaginative picture relates to the wedding banquet in Matthew 22:1–14. The passage describes invited guests and a guest without a wedding garment; it does not say a servant dresses a guest. That detail belongs to the illustration. The printed memory verse, Matthew 22:37, comes from the separate Greatest Commandment conversation later in the chapter. Use the linked worksheet and kids guide for that lesson.

• What does the king ask his servants to do in Matthew 22:9?
• How is this banquet story different from the conversation about loving God and your neighbor?
