What Does 1 Chronicles 22:1 Mean?
This verse closes the account of the plague and the angel at the threshing floor of Ornan and opens the chapter on David's preparations. Standing where God had mercifully answered his sacrifice, David recognizes the spot as holy and names it the future home of the LORD's house and altar.
Where judgment was halted by an offering, David sees the place of meeting between God and his people.
