What Does 1 Kings 10:23 Mean?
The narrator gathers the whole account into one summary statement: Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. Both gifts are named together, for his wealth was the visible fruit of the wisdom God had given. No ruler anywhere could match what the LORD had bestowed on him.
